RAYGUN STUDIOS
Originally built as a home studio in Brighton in 2018 it quickly became apparent that the results were far beyond your average home studio and that it would be a shame not to share such a great space with other like minded musicians.
The spaceship is driven by Producer and Drummer Jamie-Ray Scarratt whose attention to detail and keen interest in vintage recording equipment/techniques offers an exciting atmosphere for any musician to explore their creativity.
The modest sized acoustically treated live room offers tight and punchy drum sounds perfect for 70s and 80s style productions as well as modern genres requiring an energetic but well controlled sound.
Jamie recorded the sound for our “Beach House Sessions” that we shot recently. He was beyond professional on the shoot, accommodating for our camera men when needed and did his job excellently, as evidenced by the incredible mix heard in the final products.

RECORDING
£25/Hour or £175 for a Full Day 10am-6pm
Record as much music as you would like within the session, when recording bands we generally encourage recording together where possible however this will very much depend on the type of project. We can also offer fully analog recording to our half-Inch 8 track tape machine or 16 track one inch available on request and at additional cost.
MIXING
£30/Hour or £120 Per Track
Jamie-Ray started out in mixing over 8 years ago now and has been refining and developing his sound ever since. You can expect big low end, clear mid range and sparkling highs together with great focus on instrument separation and atmospheric space within his mixes.
MASTERING
